ABOUT ME

My name is Angeli Sinha and I am unique, because for me it is not even a question of out-of-the-box thinking, as there is no box. I am an independent skincare blogger and these factors underpin my ethos/values/whatever floats your boat:

1. I am obsessed with ageing skin because I am old. My greying hair and pigmentation tell a story of a life lived before my time. Importantly, I want advice about skincare from someone who is as competent as I am. As I couldn’t find it, I decided to do things my way: with passion, expertise and by putting in the hours.
2. I value independence of thought and I really, really hate sheep (who follow other sheep). I write (and speak) with blunt honesty and objectivity, which in today’s world is in short supply. You can’t pay me or sponsor me to write reviews. Sorry, I buy my products because that guarantees my independence.
3. I value my research-orientated approach to skincare. Data and science hold weight for me. But I am Indian and equally, I pay heed to my culture in the form of Ayurveda. Be in no doubt that the altar of Ayurveda is unparalleled in its benefits to the skin and Western brands recognise this in their subtle inclusion of Ayurvedic ingredients. Happy to share our knowledge as Indians.
   Part of my work, involves working with men, women, teenagers, grandmothers and so on to ensure that their skincare routine works for them.
