This is a product review of Huda Beauty’s Ramadan gifting calendar for 2022.
The contents are:

• 1 x Huda Beauty full-size Life Liner Quick ‘N Easy Precision Liquid Eyeliner
• 1 x Huda Beauty full-size Sweet Nude Sweet Cheeks Power Bullet Cream Glow Cream Lipstick
• 1 x Huda Beauty Déjà Vu White Flower | 57 & Invite Only Amber | 23 EDP Intense Rollerball
• 1 x Kayali gold Refillable Fragrance Atomizer
• 1 x WISHFUL Thirst Trap Cocoon Mask
• 1 x WISHFUL mini Thirst Trap Juice HA3 & Peptide Serum
The good news is that’s it at the same price as last year’s (AED 524 or US$ 143 ).
Would I buy happy to receive this?
I did the numbers, and this calendar does offer value for money. The savings are somewhere between 26% and 37% and that’s not a shabby deal.
I have also used 3 of the 10 products in the calendar, namely those highlighted in bold. (Or 3 out of 8, if you ignore the atomiser and the bunny headband). I would buy these 3 products again and I am a big fan of Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub and my review of this product is here.
BUT (and there’s always a but), I do feel that Huda Beauty is a victim of its own success as it becomes a corporate behemoth.
Huda Beauty offers so many excellent deals throughout the year, that the savings on this calendar, are kind of peanuts. The website just ran a Friends & Family 25% offer and why would I not buy things that I actually wanted?
It may be the case that I am suffering from Beauty Advent Calendar fatigue from Christmas and New Year, but I cannot get excited or enthused about this calendar.
Sorry, its just lacks any spark and solves none of my immediate or future skincare/ fragrance or make up problems
If you are a fan of Huda Beauty, WISHFUL skincare and Kayali parfums, then I would suggest you try this. Its just not for me
