cultbeauty pre Black Friday sale what to buy 2020

Cultbeauty are having what appears to be a pre-Black Friday (27 November 2020) sale.  Honestly, discounts are the basic modus operandi for most brands at the moment, especially colour cosmetics. Therefore, don’t be hoodwinked into buying everything on discount.  Only buy colour cosmetics that will hold the test of time.  Will neon green eyeshadow really be in fashion in 12 months time??  Secondly, buy products that have a long shelf-life and don’t open them until you are going to use them. The website offers free shipping with every £40 purchase, which does give them an edge. However, I am not too sure how I feel about the carbon footprint free shipping entails. Hmm.

Details of the sale are as follows…

Huda Beauty

30% of most eyeshadow palettes, including the Rose Gold Remastered and the original Gem palettes.  Nothing to get too excited about though (except the price). As VAT is excluded for me (and there is free shipping with Huda Beauty at the moment), this palette sets me back £33 (and not the normal retail price of £56). That’s a 40% saving

Rose Gold Remastered Palette HUDA BEAUTY (£33 from £56)

Anastasia Beverly Hills

Again there is 30% off most ABH brow products, including cult classics like the Brow Wiz, which I am a fan of. With VAT excluded, this costs me £13 and not the usual £23, so a saving of about 40%. I am also going to try the

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS
Brow Wiz (£13 from £23)

Wishful

Most of the Wishful range appears to be at 30% discount. I am definitely getting the Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub, which will set me back £20 and not the ordinary retail price of £34. (Read the review here).

WISHFUL Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub (£20 from £34)

Frankly, I am more excited about the cleansing balm, which will cost me £25 and not the £43….

WISHFUL Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer (£25 from £43 )

Urban Decay

I have hooded eyes and only Urban Decay’s primer prevents my eyeshadow smudging. I also dab a bit under my eyes and that stops my eyeliner from bleeding. Honestly, I don’t remember what I used to do before I met this primer. Is this the ideal dinner date? Possibly. It costs me £11.30 from £19.50

URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow Primer Potion
(£11.30 from £19.50)

For a proper night out, I can’t live without the Urban Decay setting spray, which is also on sale. I always get the £12 travel version, simply because I live in hope that I’ll be able to travel to London soon.

nuface device

There is also 30% off nuface devices, which should become everyone’s pandemic staple. I already have one, and I have been thinking of getting a laser type device. However, rather than spend ££££ I am going to get this LED attachment for £82 from £142. That’s again a 40% discount for me.

NUFACE Trinity Wrinkle Reducer Attachment (£82 from £142)
