I am road-testing this cleanser as part of my 40 day road-test of a mix of products.
What has been my experience of using this cleanser?

In deciding whether or not to use a facewash, I apply this quite rudimentary and basic test of my own design:
1) What are the cleansing agents (or surfactants) present?
The cleansing agents that are present are:
Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate: Isethionates (such as this) by their nature are mild surfactants. This produces a luxurious feel to the product.
Cocoamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine: I think this is a mild surfactant, but will confirm
Decyl Glucoside: Mild surfactant (used by Forest Essentials’ in its micellar water formulations)
Lauryl Glucoside : Mild surfactant, commonly used in natural skincare formulations
Maltooligosyl Glucoside (I believe)
This combination of surfactants is pretty mild and that bears out in my experience of using this product
2) Does the product have a good preservative system?
Yes, absent from the product are preservatives such as parabens or formaldehyde releasing preservatives or allergens.
3) Does the product contain glycerine?
Yes, this product has glycerine. Glycerine keeps the skin hydrated by reducing the amount of trans-epidermal water loss.

4) Does the product irritate or dry the skin?
In my view, the best experience of using a cleanser is that it is boring, inoffensive, mild and keeps acne at bay. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and its really all these things. It almost as good as Kama Ayurveda’s Rose & Jasmine face cleanser (and that is high praise coming from me).
This product in no shape or form has irritated or caused my skin to become dry.
Would I buy this product again?
On this blog I have tested over 50 cleansers and quite frankly, find a cleanser as mild as this is like finding a needle in a haystack.
