My view: Give it a miss
MRP: Rs 650 for 50ml
Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Xantham Gum, Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenoxyethanol, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol,
Filters
There appear to be two filters Octinoxate (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate) and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol???
My thoughts
The complete INCI name for Bemotrizinol, a UVA filter, is Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (BEMT).
This is a new style UVA filter, that is photostable, heavy molecule (no dermal absorption) and is also, quite rare in Indian sunscreens despite being fantastic.
Is this Bemotrizinol????
I don’t know.
In my view, if manufacturer’s do not have sufficient quality control in place to ensure an accurate description of its ingredients, I don’t need to buy it. I don’t believe in the benefit of the doubt when it comes to my skin health – especially when I have to pay for it. Enough said.
