This is a 30 day product review of the Vital Perfection line. The products I’m using are the cleanser, softener, serum and face cream. More details can be found at this blog.
What has been my experience of using these products?
The products are without doubt, expensive. But they are an absolute delight to use. The texture, smell and the touch and feel of the products are superior to Clinique or Forest Essentials. Also, a lot goes a long way and despite using all products 2-3 times a day, I fully expect them to last at least 60 days more.
What are my expectations of the products and have they delivered?
My expectations are twofold:
- Has there been any brightening?
- Has there been any anti-aging effect?
Obligatory before
Obligatory after
I hope you can see but my skin is at least one shade lighter than 30 days ago. I have been spending some time outside (despite the lockdown) so this a very pleasant surprise. I also think that overall my skin is brighter.
The intense pigmentation I have (area in the circle) is not per se diminishing and this is disappointing. On the anti-aging side, I am not sure there is any difference at all. However, 30 days is a short period of time to see the anti-aging benefits of a product range such as this.
Closing
I am happy that this Japanese beauty product delivers skin lightening. One to two shades lighter is in keeping with my original expectation. Given the ongoing lockdown, I will continue to use this product for another 30 days. In between I will be using other brand face masks and I’ll keep you posted.
