What do I have my eyes on this month? I want to write eligible men, but unfortunately, I can only cognize that. Before Thanksgiving in the USA, the gift-giving market is flooded with new launches and repackaged limited edition value packs.
There are too many to fit into one blog and parts deux, trois and infini (infinity in French), will follow.
So far, these are my favourites.
1) Limited Edition CIRE TRUDON and Balmain scented candle (270g for £105)
This is a dream come true for any fashionista! It has the characteristic colour black that is so Balmain coupled with the fragrant notes of Cedar and Bergamot which are so Cire Trudon.
2) Origami Jewellery Swan Necklace (Euros 144)
I didn’t know that Japanese inspired origami jewellery, was a thing. This jeweller has everything from elephants, to swallows and flying horses (I know). However, this sharply cut mechanistic swan is my favourite, probably because it’s the anti-thesis of a Swarovski swan.
3) BEA BONGIASCA Vine 9-karat rose gold, sterling silver, enamel and rock crystal earrings (£935)
I don’t usually recommend extortionately priced jewellery and today is one such exception. I absolutely love the circle within a circle that remains uninterrupted by an earlobe (or two). As we with many things coming out of Italy (Ferrari, Gucci, Maseratis, Alessi) it is the epitome of design innovation.
4) Morphe Brush Lust 10-Piece Eye brush set (£29)
I will be honest with you, I am not sure or persuaded that I understand the functionality of any/all of these brushes, but they form an integral part of my make-up repertoire. I would go as far as to say that they were my best buy last year.
5) Lisa Elridge lipsticks £26
Every year, the wonderful and talented Lisa Elridge launches a bunch of new lipstick shades. I love the Velvet Blush (shown above) and Velvet Myth colours. And I know what you are thinking – do you really need another lipstick when its covered by a mask? I do lots of things that make me unhappy. Trying and wearing lipsticks isn’t one of them. It’s a happy me activity.
