This is the third product, I’m reviewing from skyn Iceland. The first two products were a Vitamin C rubberizing mask and a Blue clay mask made with “13,000 year old oxygenating mud from the Ice Age.”
Never heard of this brand…
This is an American based brand that makes today’s masks in South Korea. Apart from glacier water in the products I’m unsure of the Iceland connection.
What am I testing?
Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels and Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels (minus the forehead mask). The instructions are after cleansing, remove backing and apply gel side to outer corners of the mouth area or under eye area 10 minutes.
Results?
Undoubtedly, the area under my eye is firmer, there is less puffiness and a reduction in the deep line that cuts across my cheek. Its a similar story around my mouth: the skin is more filled out or firmer/toned and less wrinkly.
Here are the pros and cons
Results and would I buy this again?
I cannot tell you how much pleasure it gives me to have used these products and for them to:
- Delivered an excellent user experience and
- An equally fantastic result.
These masks don’t come cheap (Eye gel: 4 gel pack for US$ 18, Face gel: 4 gel pack (laugh lines & forehead) for US$ 35) and I am fine with that. The other skyn Iceland products may have been cheaper but the user experience was awful. I hope skyn Iceland appreciates that consumers don’t just pay for the end-result, they also pay for the experience of using the product.

I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good.
I do not know who you are but certainly you’re going
to a famous blogger if you aren’t already 😉 Cheers!
Thank you for your kind words! I am not at all famous, as I pay for everything I physically review. Hahaha!
