Ducray Moisturising Micellar Water

I find myself frequently in two minds about things: its not confusion, its a thought-process and as I write I have made my mind up.

Even before I read the ingredient label, I disliked this product because it had such a strong fragrance.

Think rose water, but the gulab jal variety you find in an Indian sweet shop…yes, I can see you visualise it.

Anyway, this product contains: HYDROXYISOHEXYL 3-CYCLOHEXENE CARBOXALDEHYDE, which the EU has placed on a “not permitted in cosmetics” list. Manufacturers have been given a grace period to sell / withdraw product from the market, and hence (I assume) this is why I was able to buy this product.

This ingredient is a masking agent and more information can be found here

To buy, or not to buy?

Quite evidently, no-one should be buying this product.
