For me to buy and use a product for children it should pass this basic test:
This product fails my very basic sunscreen test on many counts, as it contains parabens and fragrance. Parabens are cheap and effective preservatives. They are also estrogen mimickers and if you are thinking PCOS, then you are not the only one. See this blog for further information Chemicals to Avoid – Parabens.
SPF 25 is also a problem…
However, also note that this is only an SPF 25 product – which I appreciate is not too different from an SPF 30 product. But statistically we are likely to underapply sunscreen and this drastically reduces the protection of the SPF.

Filters present:
The only filter that is present is Titanium Dioxide – as the 8th listed ingredient. Titanium Dioxide is photostable and safe to use, especially for children because it essentially sits on the skin. However for the product to be effective at all, there has to be sufficient amount of filter present. I am not at all convinced that as the 8th listed ingredient this product is an SPF 25. I am happy to be proven wrong, but I won’t be buying this product.
