Richfeel Anti-Acne Face Wash product review

The first rule of buying any product for me, is that if all the ingredients are not listed as required by law, then I won’t buy the product.

Obviously, this escaped through my net and appears in my inventory of products to review.

With this anti-acne face wash by Richfeel, the ingredients on the label include “Preservatives.”

A ‘preservative’ means substances which are exclusively or mainly intended to inhibit the development of micro-organisms in the cosmetic product.

For a preservative to be permitted within a product, it must be listed in Annex C of IS 4707-2 (2009).

(Sorry to quote regulation in a blog, but this matter is of such importance, that it unavoidable).

Why is this a problem?

Labelling exists for consumer protection and to ensure the safety of products. This is stating the obvious.

It is unacceptable for Richfeel to circumvent these regulations and be vague as possible because preservative could be something Richfeel think is a preservative but does not fall into regulation.

How do I know? Not cool.

Would I buy this product again?

No.
