With the popularity of sheet masks, it is impossible to not find a decent, single use sheet-mask. The price of sheet masks drops if you buy multiple. I do wonder what the actual cost is, if Forest Essentials’ can sell a sheet mask at Rs 335.
Naturally, the quality of (cheapish) mask varies as does the quality of their ingredients: the cheaper the mask, the more its filled with synthetic chemicals that deliver short-term fixes. (There is nothing wrong with synthetic chemicals by the way: A sunscreen = Bunch of synthetic chemicals)
Cheap masks are a matter of matching your expectations (which should be suitably low) with the anticipated experience of using such a mask. In particular this applies to sheet masks. E.g., Dr Jart’s sheet masks frequently tear (for me). But 111 Skin, which produces light-weight, almost silk like sheet mask.

Note on using clay masks…
Most (90%) of Made in India face masks require you to form a paste from a dry powder. I get it. It is notoriously difficult to preserve clay masks and a simpler solution is to sell powdered clay masks.
- If you have dry skin, think of avoiding clay masks.
- Many clay masks come with instructions to leave on for 20-30 mins. Do not do this.
- As soon as the mask feels as if its drying, wash it off. When clay masks dry they have a propensity to draw out water from your skin, which is not what you want.
