lookfantastic has one of the most reasonably priced advent calendars on the British high street. However, does it offer value for money and should you rush out and buy it?
But, first what is and Advent calendar?
“Advent” means Coming in Latin and an advent calendar counts the days to Christmas. For example, this is the Jo Malone 2020 Advent Calendar.
It has 24 individually numbered drawer and in the countdown to Christmas, you open a drawer/day and it will reveal a present (e.g.) a candle, parfum, soap etc.

All prices are from a suitable UK website, so prices are VAT inclusive, "A" is the quantity of the full sized product. "B" is the price (£) for the full sized product. "C" is the quantity of the product in the Advent Calendar. "D" is calculated as (C/A)*B. "E" is calculated as D/F expresses as a percentage

What do I think?
lookfantastic claim that the products are worth £460+. At the time of writing this blog, my estimate is the products are worth close to £400, as many of the products in the calendar are on sale (on the lookfantastic website) or are part of an offer (e.g. get 15% when you spend £80). The calendar is still great value for money, provided you really are going to use the skincare products in it. This calendar is not for me, as there are essentially no products that appeal to me.
